ASCE: US falling trillions short on infrastructure

A new report by the American Society of Civil Engineers estimates the US is on track to fall $5.6 trillion short of needed investment in infrastructure by 2039, suppressing business activity by $23 trillion over that period. The report may serve as a guidepost for the incoming Biden administration, which is reported to be preparing a major infrastructure initiative.
