Individuals with dementia who participated in a tai chi program continued to have a good quality of life after six months, compared with worse life quality among controls, UK researchers reported in the journal Clinical Interventions in Aging. The findings showed that both groups had similar balance test scores, but those in the tai chi group had reduced fall incidence.
