PET/MRI with time-of-flight capability can lower radiation doses in pediatric patients by up to 50% while providing similar image quality, compared with non-TOF PET, researchers reported at the SNMMI Annual Meeting. The findings were based on scans involving 11 people ages 2 to 19.
