Health records data from 236,379 patients who survived COVID-19 showed that 34% were diagnosed with a psychiatric or neurological disorder within six months, with anxiety and mood disorders the most common conditions. Dementia, stroke and other neurological disorders were less common but still significant, researchers reported in Lancet Psychiatry.
