The CMS said almost 1,300 health care providers are participating in Medicare's new at-risk bundled payment model, which began Oct. 1 and will go through Dec. 31, 2023. The program consists of 32 bundled clinical episodes, and it involves 832 acute-care hospitals and 715 group medical practices in 49 states and the District of Columbia.
