Researchers found that FDG-PET/MRI may be an effective alternative to FDG-PET/CT for evaluating early postchemotherapy treatment response in pediatric Hodgkin lymphoma. "By replacing FDG-PET/CT with FDG-PET/MRI, children with Hodgkin lymphoma will receive a lower cumulative radiation dose at staging and response assessment, whilst maintaining diagnostic accuracy," researchers reported in the Journal of Nuclear Medicine.
