Mindfulness yoga was linked to better outcomes for anxiety, depression, perceived equanimity, perceived hardship and disease-specific health-related quality of life for patients with Parkinson's disease, compared with stretching and resistance training exercises, according to a study in JAMA Neurology. Mindfulness yoga also was as effective as stretching and resistance training for motor dysfunction and mobility improvements, researchers said.
