Check-Cap gets conditional IDE for C-Scan trial

The FDA has granted Israel-based Check-Cap conditional investigational device exemption approval for a pilot study of the C-Scan system, a capsule-based screening method that spots precancerous polyps to prevent colorectal cancer. The single-arm study aims to assess the safety, subject compliance and usability of the system in patients who have an average risk of colon cancer and polyps.
