Researchers from Navigant and the Healthcare Financial Management Association polled 107 hospital and health system revenue cycle executives and chief financial officers and found the number who said their organizations underuse available EHR functions or can't keep pace with EHR upgrades increased from 51% last year to 56% this year. Twenty-one percent of respondents also said EHR optimization was a priority for improvement, up from 15% last year.
