Researchers found that people with Parkinson's disease and nonamnestic mild cognitive impairment had a 63% increase in alpha-synuclein accumulation, or Lewy body pathology severity, compared with a 21% rise among those with amnestic MCI. The findings were published in the journal Movement Disorders.
