HIMSS Analytics asked rural health care executives about their clinical and/or technology-based initiatives and found that 55.2% would prioritize telemedicine, followed by security at 47.9%. Physician satisfaction would be prioritized by 42.7%, and mobile technology, patient education and precision medicine ranked as the lowest priorities, according to the survey.
