Eating one or more servings of tofu per week was associated with a lower risk of coronary heart disease, compared with having less than one serving per month, researchers reported in the journal Circulation. While the study linked higher isoflavone intake overall to a lower risk of CHD, the benefit was not seen with soy milk.
