Vitamin D may lower metastatic cancer, death risk

Adults who take vitamin D3 supplements have a 17% lower risk of developing metastatic or fatal cancer than those who took a placebo but do not have a reduced risk of being diagnosed with the disease, according to a study in JAMA Network Open.
Metastatic cancer and death risk fell by around 40% for adults who took vitamin D3 and practiced weight management.
