Bye Aerospace is testing a two-seat electric airplane that has been designed exclusively for flight training, with a goal of reducing the price of flying lessons and encouraging more students to become pilots at a time when there is high demand. The company's founder, George Bye, says the eFlyer 2 is expected to perform at 20% of the cost of other training airplanes.
