Federal Aviation Administration acting chief Daniel Elwell on Friday led a meeting with three airlines and their pilots unions to discuss their concerns about the grounded Boeing 737 Max family of jets. "As a pilot myself, as a longtime member of a commercial airline pilot union, I understand the dynamic, I understand how important it is to the rank and file pilot to understand what the FAA is doing," says Elwell.
