Honeywell and Daedalean have formed a partnership to create autonomous artificial intelligence systems for general aviation and electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, with Honeywell also making an investment in the Swiss startup. In discussing the joint venture, Daedalean CEO Luuk van Dijk noted that the development of flight control software "requires lots of flight data," and said, "That's why the collaboration with prominent industry partners such as Honeywell is critical for us to speed up the development of our technology."
