CMS officials said about 1.5 million enrollees, or 7.5% of Medicare Advantage plan beneficiaries, will have access to home- or community-based long-term-care support or additional benefits designed to help members cope with chronic conditions such as diabetes. Among the offerings in certain plans are coverage for adult day care, assistance with chores and other daily living activities, and respite care for caregivers.
