Patients with a history of gallbladder polyps do not have an increased risk of gallbladder cancer, according to a study published in JAMA Network Open. The risk increases in older patients, those with underlying conditions and people with large polyps, commented Aliya Gulamhusein, MD, of the University of Toronto.
