Data from a Taiwanese study showed that the incidence of hepatitis C-related lymphoma was lower in patients with chronic hepatitis C infection treated with a 24-week antiviral therapy regimen of pegylated interferon and ribavirin compared with untreated participants with HCV. The study, reported in the journal Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics, involved 24,133 patients.
