The surge in e-commerce last year brought the delivery of about 3 billion boxes during the 2020 holiday season and some startups are now working on solutions more sustainable than traditional cardboard boxes. Boox's foldable plastic boxes can be reused and the startup aims to eventually have a network of brands that can use the boxes interchangeably.
