London-based Garcon Wines' flat plastic wine bottles, made from recycled plastic and originally designed to fit through UK mail slots, are set to make their US debut in the fourth quarter of 2020. Northern California packaging firm Amcor will produce the bottles, which hold the standard 750 milliliters of wine, and the company is negotiating with West Coast winemakers to supply the wine, CEO and co-founder Santiago Navarro said.
