US company Sunconomy and Russia-based Apis Cor have received approval to begin building 3D-printed geopolymer concrete houses in Texas that purportedly will be able to withstand tornado winds and high-magnitude earthquakes. The concrete 3D printer uses 8 kilowatts of energy during construction.
