Work is progressing on a $1.5 billion rail project to replace the Portal North Bridge over the Hackensack River in New Jersey. Workers are now placing concrete for a 540-foot retaining wall, with 206 precast concrete panels already installed and cellular concrete being used to fill the space behind the panels.
