Testing all students, teachers and staff in US K-12 public schools for COVID-19 would cost $42.5 billion through the end of the school year, according to the nonprofit Rockefeller Foundation. The plan suggests testing educators and staff twice a week and students a minimum of once a week, with a goal of having schools fully reopened in March, a plan reportedly being considered by the Biden administration.
