Members of certain racial and ethnic groups and people with lower incomes are less likely to have access to certain plumbing features, according to a study by Shiloh Deitz and Katie Meehan of the University of Oregon. In addition "plumbing incompleteness is spatially clustered in certain regions of the country," they note.
