2 groups report benefits of biotech crops

Reports from the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-Biotech Applications and PG Economics describe the social, economic and environmental benefits of biotech crops. ISAAA's report states that in 2017, the biotech crop global area was 189.8 million hectares in 24 countries, and PG Economics notes that such crops contributed to higher yields, more secure production and increased farmer income.
