The Pennsylvania Game Commission is accepting public comment through the end of February on a proposed plan to stem the spread of chronic wasting disease. The commission is also financing a five-year, $10 million cooperative initiative with veterinarians at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine called the Pennsylvania Wildlife Futures Program, which will increase wildlife disease surveillance, management and research.
