In a letter to the CDC and the White House, Pathway Vet Alliance volunteered its veterinarians at 390 clinics in 37 states to administer COVID-19 vaccines to people in their communities. "Clearly, many details would need to be worked out from state to state to allow veterinary professionals to assist with providing vaccinations to human beings, but our goal with this was to make ourselves available, offer our support and assistance, if needed, just like we did when we offered the use of our ventilators to human hospitals," said veterinarian Stephen Hadley, the organization's CEO.
