The Massachusetts Department of Public Health says 36 cities and towns are at critical risk of Eastern equine encephalitis, 42 are at high risk, and 115 are at moderate risk. The Rhode Island Department of Health said a resident in their 50s died of EEE last week, and a Massachusetts resident died of EEE in August.
