The AVMA sent the University of Arizona a "letter of reasonable assurance" for its veterinary school, enabling the institution to begin accepting veterinary students next year. Although the veterinary school will have provisional accreditation until its first graduates finish in 2023, those new veterinarians will be "fully eligible" to become licensed, the university said.
