A new animal health center scheduled to open in September at Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, N.Y., will have state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment and allow guests to watch veterinarians work in treatment, intensive care and surgery suites. Residents, interns and students at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine will also get real-world experience at the new center.
