A saw-whet owl traveled in a tree from Oneonta, in central New York, to Manhattan's Rockefeller Center, where he was discovered when workers unwrapped the tree and prepared to decorate it for Christmas. Despite being dehydrated and hungry, the little owl got a clean bill of health from a veterinarian before he was sent to Ravensbeard Wildlife Center, where he is feasting on mice before being released.
