Dogs tend to shun people who they've observed refusing to help their owners, but cats seem as happy to take treats from their owner's nemesis as from anyone else, researchers reported in Animal Behavior and Cognition. Cats may be no less loyal than dogs and instead simply may not have the same social evaluation abilities, the researchers wrote.
