4 reindeer at Minn. Zoo die of insect-borne virus

Epizootic hemorrhagic disease has killed four reindeer and sickened four others at the Minnesota Zoo, according to the state Board of Animal Health. Biting midges carry and spread the virus, which also affects deer, moose and bison but is not known to harm people.
