Ohio to distribute wildlife rabies vaccine baits

The Ohio Department of Health and the USDA's Wildlife Services team will be air-dropping rabies vaccine baits in May and August in Carroll, Columbiana, Mahoning, Stark and Tuscarawas counties amid a rising number of rabies-positive animals. The baits will not harm domesticated animals, but officials say people should avoid disturbing the baits.
