The National Weather Service warned Floridians not to be surprised if a cold snap causes iguanas to fall from trees and said to leave them alone if they do. The ectothermic lizards become lethargic or immobile when the air temperature drops into the 40s, sometimes causing them to fall from branches, the NWS says.
