Veterinarians are asking clients to postpone routine care, and while some vaccinations can be delayed for a few months, others such as the rabies vaccine endanger human and animal health if they are not kept up to date, writes veterinarian Michael Watts. Vaccinations for Lyme disease, leptospirosis and feline leukemia also should not be delayed, Dr. Watts writes.
