An experimental rabies vaccine containing a B cell activating factor quickly provoked a strong immune response in mice at a lower dose than conventional vaccines, according to a study published in PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases. More research is needed, but the approach could apply to vaccines for other infectious diseases.
