Veterinary surgeon Jose Coto has treated an array of injured, neglected or abused wild animals at his clinic in El Salvador, including a hawk whose wing feathers had been cut off. Dr. Coto and his team grafted matching feathers from another hawk that had died months ago, quickly enabling the bird to fly again.
