Tufts University's School of Veterinary Medicine donated ventilators, N95 respirator masks, face masks sewn by employees and friends, thermometers and other medical equipment to hospitals and health care providers across Massachusetts, and the veterinary school's farm will donate 30 dozen eggs each week to local food pantries. "As veterinarians, we have a societal responsibility to care for animals in order to uphold the human-animal bond and the mental health of animal owners in a time of great stress, while preserving supplies sorely needed in the human health care system," said Dean Alastair Cribb.
