Veterinarians at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine are working with a veterinarian from Switzerland on an elbow joint replacement in a local service dog. The Swiss veterinarian designed the artificial joint for his own dog, and it has succeeded in both that dog and an Oklahoma veterinarian's dog.
