The first endangered lappet-faced vulture chick born at San Diego Zoo hatched on March 25 and is being raised at the zoo's condor facility. "The chick is doing amazingly well, and is currently being puppet-fed a diet of mice -- four to five times a day," said wildlife care specialist Erin Womack.
