A rare, black coyote has been spotted playing with dogs in neighborhoods around Smyrna and Vinings, Ga., including coming to play every day with a woman's great Pyrenees dog. That friendship enabled researchers to capture the coyote and rehome her at a wildlife sanctuary. "It's not a good situation for a wild animal like a coyote to be interacting with people," says Christopher Mowry, co-founder of the Atlanta Coyote Project.
