Residents of Clearwater, British Columbia, have formed the Wells Gray Country Vet Recruitment Coalition to recruit a new veterinarian to replace the only veterinarian in the district, who is retiring in June. The group is reaching out to local leaders and groups with interest in animal health, such as 4-H and rescue organizations, and organizers are creating a video promoting the town's quality of life.
