Ahold Delhaize, ANF, ELM Pet Foods, Kroger, Lidl, Natural Life Pet Products, Nutrisca and Sunshine Mills have recalled certain dry dog foods due to a potential for excessive vitamin D, which can cause kidney failure or death, according to the FDA. The FDA recommends contacting a veterinarian and providing food label information if dogs exhibit vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst or urination, excessive drooling and weight loss.
