FDA approves expanded use of imepitoin for noise aversion in dogs

The FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine approved Pexion, or imepitoin, to treat extreme noise aversion in dogs. The drug was effective in a placebo-controlled study involving pet dogs that were afraid of fireworks, though three of the 90 dogs in the treatment group became abnormally aggressive while on the drug.
