The Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory on the University of Wisconsin's Madison campus has been processing 1,200 to 1,400 COVID-19 tests daily from students, faculty and staff and has the capacity to process 2,000 tests a day, says research communications director Kelly Tyrrell. Lab staff brought their PCR processing in-house, and they've learned about privacy and other rules that apply to handling of human samples.
