Felids, including domesticated and wild cats, can catch SARS-CoV-2 from people, and domestic cats can spread it to other cats within two days, according to researchers at Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Another study at K-State showed that pigs do not appear to be susceptible to or capable of transmitting the virus.
