Mice and macaques given an experimental COVID-19 vaccine produced antibodies that neutralized and bound to SARS-CoV-2, researchers reported on the pre-print server bioRxiv. The animals also demonstrated a T cell response to the vaccine, which will now enter Phase I/II clinical trials in people, according to developers Sanofi and Translate Bio.
