The city of Seoul, South Korea, began offering free SARS-CoV-2 tests for animals showing signs of infection, and on Monday, officials identified the virus as the cause of a cat's vomiting and lethargy. All members of the owner's household had COVID-19, and though officials said there is no evidence people can contract the disease from pets, the cat was placed in isolation for 14 days.
